The urban reality of Milan and the Lombardy Region sees a wide dissemination activity.
In addition to the sharing with the Institutional realities already close to our cultural and educational programming (Culture Department of the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan; Social Services Department of the same political level and obviously the Prison Superintendent and the other municipalities from the Milan north west area such as Bollate for example), there are many associations on the territory following our cultural programming, one over all Nudoecrudo Teatro that is a Bollate Association of theatre that work also nationally and internationally.
Obviously we can not omit the Universities, first of all IULM -Â International University of Languages and Media with which there is a strong partnership on the In Living Memory Project, but also the University of Milan and the Catholic University in addition to art school in Brera and the Milan Civic schools for the theatre and cinema.
Moreover, our reality has a loyal audience of several thousand people that usually takes part at shows inside and outside the prison and also attend our theatre workshops that are rolling in the years.
This is the first frame of territorial context.
Our organization is also part of many long planning networks both for educational projects, as the TRIO project funded by Hospital ASL Milan 1 that is taking care of social housing, but also provide a cultural offer to the persons in custody and the artistic network ETRE, that receives a funding from Lombardy Region and Cariplo Foundation (a bank Foundation very strong in Lombardy) since 2008 and collect 21 residencies and 22 theatre companies from all over the Region.
Except for the positive effects on the creation and the story telling of our Cooperative, this means that for example the dissemination event of October at Expo Milan 2015 has therefore been able to count on a wide promotion that was linked with communication networks of our project partners.
Concerning the experimentation of the training model, it was important to promote the contribution of universities that communicated and involved their students in the training project – also recognizing them a training credit (that in the Italian University are very important and required). The group of university students then shared the experience with the inmates-students of the theatre advanced group promoting an important synergy for the outcome of the experimentation.
